I believe the hotel was on fire or it may be clouds?? It was located where Payne Ford Tractor Parking lot is. Taken by my father Al George Payne

Hotel Duncan, New Tazewell, Tennessee
Although I don't like "borrowing" pictures from other sources I scanned this from the Claiborne County Genealogical and Historical Society's Second Edition Book. It shows the Hotel Duncan full front. The image below shows the Hotel after it was sold to the Cawood family in 1955. It burned in November 1945.

James and Gilford Cawood also opened a Western Auto Store in the George Cosby Building located next to the Hotel.
