This is the intersection of State 131 and U.S. 25 E – Thorn Hill, Tennessee – where major accidents happen all the time.  Most recently a LMU bus of students and a pickup pulling a new trailer.  The pickup traveling State 131 evidently came up on the intersection in broad daylight and ran directly into the path of the bus traveling up Clinch Mountain on 25E

Walking back up State 131 – My truck is in the distance – picture is taken from same location looking opposite directions.

Pay attention to the next few pictures when I turn around and look back towards US 25E – watch how all the Stop and Yield signs disappear as well as the highway itself and all you see is the continuation of State 131 on the other side of US 25E

The top picture is looking back towards the busy US 25 E from just in front of

my truck  - See the top of a car disappearing just over the rise – about 130 ft till you on US 25E

Where did US 25E go??  No flashing lights, no warning signs this close.  The next stop you make better be quick if you missed the one sign warning you that there is a major US Highway approaching with a down hill slope.

Off in the distance on the left is the only warning sign that there is a major intersection ahead.

Walking a little closer to that one warning sign.

The one sign that could save your life driving towards US 25E
