Thomas Ficklin, father of Susannah (who married Wm. Sweetnaim) and Sarah
(who married John Swetman), died 1778. I don't have his birth date or his
childrens.
Thomas' father, William's birth date is estimated at 1690. The Will of
Thomas Ficklin mentions daughters, Susannah Sweetnaim, Ann Fewel, Margaret
Jenkins, Sarah Swetnam, Elizabeth Ficklin and Lucy Ficklin, son, John Ficklin,
son-in-law, Wm. Sweetnaim and John Swetnam; brother, Benjamin Ficklin;
nephew, James Bower, grandson, Lewis Bell.
That is the only mention of Swetnaims in the book. I don't know if the
book is available at the library....I have a copy here if you'd like me
to check for any other names.
