This is the Mormon Church record. I found in the P. G. Fulkerson record
a different approximate date of death and the place of burial as Big Springs,
TN. I will use the Church date because of submittal at a later date.

This probably is no more than coincidence, but there was a Hurst family
in Northumberland Co. And where do you suppose they lived? You got it -
on Mill Creek, which is a tidal estuary of the Great Wicomico River. In
fact, if you look at a quad map of the area, you will see Hurst Millpond
at the head of Mill Creek.
Mill Creek was originally called "Dennis his Creek," or Dennis'
Creek, but by the early 1700s the name had changed to Mill Creek.
Just something you might want to pursue unless you know the origin of your
John Hurst's identifying name.
