Tree Farming

Just a few of the many pictures of my Tree Farm as it became Eagle Landing.

This property is located in rural Claiborne County on Norris Lake. For many years I used it as a Tree Farm. My father timbered it during the early 1950's and it was not timbered again until 1979. Here are correspondence regarding my first Forestry Management Project 1979 thru 1983. Also the Payne Family Trust timber sale that I administered during 1995 thru 1997.

This was about 1980 the year after I planted over 100 pines.

I cleared out many of the Pine Beetle pine before replanting. Got quite a bit of good wood.

Another loading area for timber sale 1980's. I reseeded and cleaned up skid trails and loading areas.

One of the saw mills I used for sawing square cedar posts and lumber for fathers house.
