The following are partial records for the years 1931 and 1932. Prohibition Units had been transferred to the Department of Justice in 1930. It is not until 1933 that Prohibtion is replealed. In 1933 the Bureau of Prohibition went back to the Treasury Department and became the Alchohol Tax Unit of the Internal Revenue Service. Granddad Phillips remained with the Internal Revenue part of Treasury until 1947.
