This chapter of the book by Ann Dudley Matheny entitled The Magic City Footnotes to the History of Middlesborough, Kentucky, and the Yellow Creek Valley should interest all of us who knew the Ginsberg family of Middlesboro. More specifically the owner of Jim's Bargain Barn. Our house in Tazewell was practically furnished with furniture from Jimmie Ginsberg's warehouse on 25th St. Sadly the book is no longer available and will not be republished. You can find the book though at the Lincoln Memorial Library or at the Middlesboro Library.
