This is lot 1 in
Eagle Landing. I replanted this entire area with Blue Spruce but only a
few lived. You can see how this lot looks now by looking at Lot 1 Eagle Landing.

Old Oak Tree in
parents front yard 1980.
|
|
 |
I took the tree
down the summer of 1980 but log in yard remained for quite some time.
|
|
 |
A couple of
fellows told me they could move the log but even with the tractor the
log would not budge. I used an eight pound splitting maul and sledge
hammer and chisel to finally bust ti up.

More limbs from
the tree.

D.D. Nielson and daughter 1995. I conducted the last sale of timber from
the property, using her expertise as Forester. It was a limited sale of only mature
hardwoods.
